SSF Slide Elements · last updated 16 September 2026

SSF Slide Elements does not collect, store, transmit or share any of your data. It has no server, no account, no analytics and no telemetry. Everything it does happens inside the PowerPoint task pane, on your own device.

Who provides SSF Slide Elements

SSF Slide Elements is made and published by DBP Invest ApS, CVR 36053925, a company registered in Denmark, under the publisher name StruktureretSundFornuft ApS. Where this policy says “we”, that is who it means.

What SSF Slide Elements reads

SSF Slide Elements is a library of ready-made slide elements for Microsoft PowerPoint. To do its work it will read one thing:

The element library itself ships inside the add-in as static files. Your presentation is processed in the add-in's own pane, on your device, and is not sent anywhere. The changed slide is written straight back into the presentation you already have open, through Microsoft's own Office JavaScript interface.

What we collect

Nothing.

We operate no server that receives your content. The add-in makes no network requests of any kind while it runs. There is no sign-in, no account, no licence check and no usage tracking. We could not identify you, or a presentation you have used it on, if we were asked to.

What is stored on your device

Enough for the pane to open where you left it, in your browser's local storage, in two places.

Two things under ssf-slide-elements, the same wherever you are: which elements you have starred, and whether you have dismissed the getting-started note.

Seven things under ssf-slide-elements: and eight characters, once for each presentation you have used the add-in on: the three settings behind the gear — where an element lands, whether its shapes arrive grouped, and whether its colours follow your deck or the library — the last six you inserted, which categories you left open, what you last typed in the search box, which tags you picked, which size you picked on an element that comes in several, and how far down the list you had scrolled.

Those eight characters are a number worked out from the presentation's address, and the address itself is not stored — the add-in only ever needs to tell one presentation from another, so there is no reason to write down where yours lives. If PowerPoint will not give an address, which is the case for a presentation you have not saved yet, everything goes in the first place instead.

All of it is a list of our own element names and three settings, plus whatever you typed in our search box. It holds nothing else from your presentation, nothing about you, and it never leaves the device it was written on — there is nowhere for it to go, because the add-in sends nothing anywhere. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes it, and the pane opens perfectly well without it.

Third parties

We send your data to no third party, because we send it nowhere at all.

The add-in's own files — the pane and its icons — are served over HTTPS from ssf-slide-elements.struktureretsundfornuft.dk, hosted on GitHub Pages. The add-in also loads Microsoft's office.js library from Microsoft's content delivery network, as every Office add-in is required to. Your browser contacting those hosts to fetch those files is a request like any other on the web, and their own privacy practices apply to it. Neither request carries any of your presentation content.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction, erasure and portability over personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to give you a copy of, correct or delete.

If you want SSF Slide Elements to leave no trace on your device, remove the add-in in PowerPoint.

Children

SSF Slide Elements is a business productivity tool and is not directed at children.
