Terms of use
SSF Slide Elements · last updated 19 September 2026
SSF Slide Elements is provided free of charge, as is, with no warranty and no
support commitment. Installing or using it means you accept the terms below.
Who provides SSF Slide Elements
SSF Slide Elements is made and published by DBP Invest ApS, CVR 36053925, a
company registered in Denmark, under the publisher name
StruktureretSundFornuft ApS. Where these terms say “we”, that is who
it means.
What you may do with it
You may install SSF Slide Elements and use it, for personal or commercial work, on as many
devices as you like, at no cost. You do not need a licence key, an account or our permission.
The slides it inserts become part of your presentation. They are yours. Use
them, edit them, delete them, and send the presentation to whoever you like — there is no
attribution to keep and no condition attached to a deck you built with it.
The source is public, and the licence page says what governs the
code as distinct from the add-in.
What you may not do
- Publish a copy or a fork under the SSF Slide Elements name, or under our publisher name, to a
marketplace or anywhere else. The MIT licence lets you fork the code and ship what you build:
it goes out under its own name, with its own icons and its own support address.
- Redistribute the element library in
template/ as a template pack of its own. It
ships as part of the add-in, and the licence page says why.
- Suggest that we endorse or are behind something we do not, by our name, our icons or
anything close enough to be mistaken for them.
- Use it to do anything unlawful.
What it changes in your presentation
This is the part a generic licence cannot tell you, so it is written out here.
Inserting an element rewrites one slide of the presentation you have open. The
add-in reads the whole file, puts the element onto a copy of the slide you are on, hands that one
slide back to PowerPoint, and removes the slide it replaced — in that order, so a failure leaves
you with a duplicate you can delete rather than a slide that is gone.
It also writes a small marker into the file beside each element it inserts, which is how
Used in this deck and Remove from N slides find their own work
again later. Those markers name an element in our library and nothing about you or your content.
Undo in the pane puts the slide back as it was, and PowerPoint's own Ctrl+Z reverts the insert
too. Even so: keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose before you insert
into it. That is ordinary advice about any tool that writes to a file, and it applies here.
No warranty
SSF Slide Elements is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or
implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or
non-infringement. We do not promise that it is free of defects, that it will suit your purpose, or
that it will keep working with future versions of PowerPoint.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from
your use of SSF Slide Elements, including lost work, lost data, lost profits or business
interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish law.
This is a tool given away for nothing. Please treat it accordingly.
Support
There is no service level and no guaranteed response time. Questions and bug reports are welcome
at the support page, and we answer when we can.
Availability and changes
We may change SSF Slide Elements, or stop publishing it, at any time and without notice. The
pane and the element library are served from our own site, so the version you use may
change without you doing anything — including the library itself, which means an element
can be added, redrawn or withdrawn.
An element already on one of your slides is not affected by any of that. Once inserted it is
ordinary PowerPoint shapes in your file, and nothing we publish later reaches back into it.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Earlier versions stay visible in
the project's public history.
Privacy
SSF Slide Elements collects nothing. The details are in the
privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law, and any dispute goes before the Danish courts.
